Sam passed away on Monday, April 30, 2007 with a heart that was full of love and bigger than life. He was a third-grade student in the gifted program at the Bank of America Learning Academy, and was also a former graduate of the JCA’s Gan Yeladim. He lived life with a loving heart and was loved deeply by so many.
Sam was an environmentalist, a musician, poet, writer, comic, storyteller, scientist, with a soul well beyond his years. He loved Harry Potter, the Yankees, the band Green Day, his action figures and PlayStation. Most of all, he loved his mom, dad, puppy and his constant companion and brother Joey.
Sam loved this planet and he especially loved Green Day.
Donations continue to be made in Sam’s name to his favorite charity, Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), 40 W. 20th St., New York, NY 10011.
